What will you do
Unique and indescribable experience!
We met at the tourist port of Ushuaia and set off on Route 3. On the way, we cut the Andes Mountains and followed the path enjoying the magnificent view of this place.

Our first stop will be to see the typical and famous Flag Trees. They are trees that have sloped a lot due to the strong winds of the Argentine Patagonia. They are beautiful and seeing them is a truly unique experience!

We continued on our journey and soon arrived at the legendary Estancia Harberton. It was the island's first resort, having been founded in 1886 by Thomas Bridges and is located on the shores of the Beagle Channel.

We got to know the resort and went to the Acatushúnde Aves and Mammals Austral Museum, near the pier. In this museum we can see the bones of whales, penguins, sea lions and dolphins.

We then left for the most anticipated part of our adventure: Martillo Island. We entered a semi rigid boat, where we sailed for about 20 minutes until we reached the island, where we disembarked.

Arriving there we see thousands of penguins !! Really a special tour !! We walk for 1h between the different species of penguins (mainly, Papúase de Magallães penguins). We saw beautiful chicks, with their gray fur, newly born in their nests, we can see them in their different stages of life. A really exciting and contagious adventure !!

In the summer, penguins settle on the island, along with other birds such as skúas, petreles, cormoranes and seagulls. So, in addition to living with the wonderful penguins on our island, we also see these birds endemic to the southern Patagonia.

After our careful walk around the island, we take the boat and then transport back to the center of Ushuaia for this incredible experience.
