During this free morning, you can rest and/or enjoy a walk in the historic center of the most populated city in the country (including the Plaza 24 de Septiembre where the cathedral is located).

Santa Cruz de la Sierra is located in the eastern part of Bolivia and was founded in 1561. Dynamic and cosmopolitan, it stands out from the traditional image we can have of the country by showing us another side, with a hot and humid climate.
The eponymous region has experienced a very significant agricultural boom (livestock, rice, cotton, sugar, soybeans, fruits, etc.) during the last decades. It is also considered to be the economic center of the country, especially with a high rate of industrialization.

The afternoon will be dedicated to visit the Güembé bio-center , where you will be able to learn more about the flora and fauna of this tropical region.

Take off planned for the Andes!
The adaptation to the altitude will be smooth, as Sucre is located in the Cordillera valleys (at 2800m).

The afternoon city tour will let you know better the white city, discovering its main attractions. First, you will visit La Casa de la Libertad, where Bolivia's proclamation of independence from Spain was signed. You will also visit the ASUR Museum of Indigenous Art, a "living" museum with textiles from the southern Andes, art by indigenous groups from the region, and local artists working in the city.

This morning, you will reach the city of Potosi, located at 4100m altitude, and discover in more detail the richness of its architecture and its history during a walking city tour where you will be able to see the beautiful culture of the main square and colonial streets in addition to visit the famous "Casa de la Moneda".

Today's program: excursion to a mine of the famous Cerro Rico before taking the 4-hour paved road to Uyuni, the gate of the world largest salt flat.

This morning you set off to explore one of the most incredible and unforgettable sites of your journey.

After a stop at the Train Cemetery located near Uyuni, you will first go to Colchani where the salt extraction process will be explained to you. Then make way for the breathtaking Salar de Uyuni: the largest salt flat in the world!

Driving a 4x4 across this sparkling, almost blinding white desert gives a feeling of infinity and immensity. In addition to a stop for lunch in this unusual setting, it is obviously planned to visit Incahuasi Island: the astonishing "cactus island".
Eventually, transfer to your refuge in San Juan village where you’ll have dinner.

The 4x4 excursion continues through the wide-open spaces of the southern Altiplano. Today´s program includes discovering the moon-like landscapes of the Northern Lípez region, punctuated by numerous peaks and beautiful lagoons. With the backdrop of the imposing active volcano Ollagüe, marking the border with neighboring Chile, you will get to the most famous lagoons: Hedionda, Chiarkota, and Honda.

Lunch is provided in the open air, and if you are lucky, you will be able to observe flamingos, Mountain viscachas, Andean foxes, and vicuñas; the typical fauna of these high altitude deserts.
You will finally reach your refuge at Huayllajara village where a hot dinner awaits you: isolation and disconnection guaranteed!

After breakfast, we´ll head south where extraordinary sites await you!
First of all, the famous Stone Tree - a real natural monument sculpted by years of wind erosion - symbolically marking the entrance to the so-called Southern Lípez region. Then the inevitable Laguna Colorada and its fabulous contrasts.

That's it! you have just reached the Andean National Reserve of Andean Fauna Eduardo Avaroa - REA. Your route will therefore be punctuated by several stops such as the thermal baths of Polques, the impressive geysers Sol de Mañana…, and, of course, a lunch break in the open air!
You will then cross the famous Dalí Desert with its ocher tones and surreal atmosphere before appreciating the beauty of the Green Lagoon located at the foot of the Licancábur volcano.

It is now time to return to Uyuni and its airport and get your flight to La Paz.

Today you’ll visit the highest capital in the world . We pass through the Witches' market, the San Francisco cathedral, the main square (Plaza Murillo), and the historical center of La Paz. Later, we continue to the southern neighborhoods to visit the Moon Valley, a fascinating geological anomaly called like this because of its bizarre, moon-like landscape. Then we will get on the Cable car system and see the fascinating landscapes of La Paz city.

You will take the road this morning to Copacabana; a small town located on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
After visiting the city - including its superb basilica - and having lunch, you will sail to the pier of the Pilkokaina ruins; in the southern part of the Island of the Sun.
Then you’ll be reaching your accommodation and enjoy the sunset with a peaceful view of the lake.

Today you will discover Sun Island or Isla del Sol by visiting the Inca Staircase and the Sacred Source. But you also have the possibility of strolling through the many hiking trails crossing the island.
After a traditional Andean lunch, you will sail to Copacabana before heading back to La Paz
