As soon as you leave the airport, you will meet your driver who will be easily identified waiting for your arrival. You will be taken directly to the hotel in a private car and it will give you a quick explanation about the other days of your trip. Buenos Aires is well known for being a city that renews itself every moment, highlighting its culture, its various sights and wonderful architecture. You will have the afternoon free to perform independent activities around the city.

This tour will be done with an exclusive guide, away from conventional tours. Today is a special day and much awaited, since we will arrive in El Calafate, a city known worldwide for being the city that houses the gigantic Glacier Perito Moreno. On departure from the airport in El Calfate a person from the Explore properly identified will be waiting with a sign to his name, to take him directly to his hotel in a private car. The rest of the day will be free so you can enjoy it as you please.

We will have our breakfast at the hotel and in the morning we will go on tour to one of the most expected sights of our trip: The giant Glacier Perito Moreno which is one of the most imposing glaciers and has already been considered the "eight natural wonder in the world". We'll be holding Ice Trekking here where we'll walk over the glacier, and with a little luck we'll be able to see huge blocks of ice falling off into the lake. There will be free time on the panoramic observation catwalks, strategically positioned to get as close to the glacier as possible. In the afternoon we return to El Calafate where the rest of the day will be free to enjoy as you prefer.

Breakfast at the hotel. Early transport from the hotel to El Chaltén. This is a different and unique Tour developed especially for those who enjoy contact with nature. The tour offers us fantastic landscapes and takes place in a resort located halfway between El Calafate and El Chaltén, in a deviation from the mythical Route 40. Discover the Petrified Forest La Leona a petrified world with forests and dinosaurs that inhabited this area millions of years ago.

After breakfast in our hotel, we will leave in time combined with our driver to the Pilar hostel where we will begin the fantastic and world-famous Trekking of El Chaltén. We will have the experience of visiting incredible landscapes, forests and crystalline lakes. For those who are willing and with a little more physical demand, we indicate that they continue the walk for another two hours until they reach the beautiful Laguna de Los Três, where we can see one of Fitz Roy's most beautiful views. The pace of walking and rest breaks are at the discretion of each explorer. A lunch box will be offered for lunch and a map of the circuit in which the trails are presented that are very well marked including self-guided walks. Tip: We suggest the use of trekking sticks and small backpack, if you do not have it is possible to rent in several places in the city or directly with the guide that will offer the explanations. We suggest taking a bottle of water that can be restored during the ride with the glaciers thaw water that is clean and free! We also suggest taking extra snacks in the backpack, such as cereal bars, chocolates, fruit, and remembering never to leave waste inside the park. Important: Be prepared for the cold. The ideal is to wear coats in the style of layers, so you can take them off as you walk and your body warms up. A second skin, an intermediate coat and a waterproof complete the three layers. Wear trekking shoes – or equivalent – that are comfortable. Take a pair of gloves and hats and whatever you find convenient to protect yourself. Even with the cloudy day, never forget the sunscreen. In this area the incidence of ultraviolet rays is higher than we are accustomed to. Also protect your eyes using sunglasses. For those who prefer not to do the trekking day there is the optional activity of taking the excursion to Lake Desierto, here we conduct a surprising navigation through a lake of crystal clear waters and surrounded by incredible patagonic landscapes overlooking Mount Fitz Roy. The physical requirement of this tour is low.
