Welcome to Bolivia! Santa Cruz de la Sierra is located in the eastern part and was founded in 1561. Dynamic and cosmopolitan, it stands out clearly from the traditional image we might have of the country, showing us a different side of the hot and humid climate. The region has experienced a very significant agricultural boom in recent decades. It is also considered the economic center of the country.
Upon arrival at Viru Viru International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will get to know the largest city in the country with a 3-hour city tour. You will visit the most important museums and buildings in the city, well-known districts, and La Recoleta, a popular market for handicrafts.
Santa Cruz de la Sierra is located in the fertile lowlands on the edge of the Cordillera Oriental mountain range. From here, you will drive around 120 km today up to over 1,600 meters to the city of Samaipata, "rest in the heights" in the Quechua language. The small town is known for "El Fuerte de Samaipata," an Inca ruin site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Today, you will go on a private excursion to Samaipata with an English-speaking local guide. Upon arrival, visit the town and the pre-Columbian fortress to later enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Ready for the Andes! Today we will transfer to the airport in Santa Cruz to take the flight to Sucre.
Sucre is located in the valleys of the Cordillera (at 2800 m / 9186 ft), upon arrival you will begin a half day city tour. During the city tour you can get to know the White City better and discover the most important sights such as Casa de la Libertad where Bolivia's proclamation of independence from Spain was signed. You will also visit the ASUR Museum of Indigenous Art, a "living" museum with textiles from the southern Andes, art by indigenous groups from the region, and local artists working in the city.
Pick-up from the hotel and transfer by private trasportation to Potosí (approx. 2.5 hours).
Potosi is a colonial city which has also been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located at 4100m altitude, you will arrive at the hotel and in the afternoon, discover the architecture and its history during a walking half-day city tour where you will be able to see the beautiful culture of the main square and colonial streets in addition to visit the famous "Casa de la Moneda".
Today, you will take a private transfer by 4-hours approx to Uyuni. Upon arrival accommodation and check in, rest of the day free.

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from the hotel, and the journey will begin with a short visit to the famed train cemetery, which is full of rusting train cars that were once used to transport minerals and people to and from Uyuni. You'll then continue to the salt-harvesting village of Colchani to see how locals harvest and produce salt. After this, you will reach the vast Uyuni Salt Flats. Visit the bizarre Incahuasi Island, covered in enormous cacti, and enjoy amazing views of the flats.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset in the middle of the endless expanse of glittering salt before returning to Colchani.
After breakfast, you'll continue through the lunar landscapes of the southern altiplano. We will stop at San Cristobal miner village, then continue to Alota valley for lunch. Later we will see amazing rock formations in the stone valley while we arrive to Katal lagoon where we will see a diversity of Andean fauna such as vicuñas, vizcachas and may others. We will continue to Villamar village, where our hotel is located.
After an early breakfast, we will visit the Colored Lagoon where we can see more wild animals, such as flamingos, then you will be able to visit the Geysers Sol de Mañana and take a relaxing dip in the thermal pools of Polques (optional). Once you feel refreshed, you'll visit the Green Lagoon before turn back toward the northeast reaching Uyuni late in the afternoon. You will have the rest of the rest of the evening free.
Pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to La Paz. Later, you will start a scenic drive through the vast Altiplano towards Tiwanaku – an archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site. On site, we will explore the most important temples of this important culture, some of which are still being excavated. These include the Akapana Pyramid, Kalasasaya, Puma Punku, and the impressive Sun and Moon Gates. After lunch, we head to Copacabana. "Copa" is a small town on the shores of Lake Titicaca with pre-Columbian origins and several important Inca ruins. We will take a deserved rest at the hotel.
After breakfast, we walk down to the shore of the beach to take the private ferry to visit the Sun Islands. On the Sun Island, we visit the Sun Temple of Pilkokaina and then hike up the famous Inca steps. A traditional Apthapi lunch will be served with a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca – a special culinary experience surrounded by nature. Afterwards, we return to the port of Yumani to take the ferry back to Copacabana. After arrival, the transportation will be waiting to take you to the hotel, where you can rest.
Today, we will take the rest of the day free to explore the city on your own or leisure at the hotel.

It's off to the rainforest today and you'll fly from the chilly highlands of La Paz to the heart of Bolivia's Amazon rainforest. Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the local flight to Rurrenabaque (274m).
We land in Rurrenabaque and after a quick stop for a briefing and any last minute preparations, we'll embark on a 3-hour scenic boat journey along the Beni and Tuichi rivers, taking in breathtaking views of the Bala Canyon and the stunning landscapes of Madidi National Park. Along the way, visit the Villa Alcira indigenous community to experience their way of life and participate in traditional sugarcane pressing.
Arrive at the Ecolodge, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing natural fruit juice before settling into your accommodations. Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local and traditional dishes, followed by a short rest.
In the afternoon, set out on a guided walk along the Dry Creek Trail, where you’ll discover a diverse array of plant life and learn about their uses in medicine, crafts, and construction. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including monkeys, peccaries, birds, and fascinating insects, depending on the season. After a satisfying dinner, unwind and relax for the night, surrounded by the sounds of the Amazon rainforest.
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast on the trail before setting off on a walk to Caquiahuara Macaw Cliff. From a high lookout, observe macaws in their natural nesting habitat while taking in the beauty of towering native trees and learning about their traditional uses in medicine, crafts, and construction.
Enjoy lunch at Arenalito Refuge, surrounded by the tranquility of the jungle. In the afternoon, head to the Tuichi River for a hands-on experience in building a callapo, a traditional log raft used by the indigenous people of the Amazon. Then, float downriver on the raft, immersing yourself in the rhythm of the water as you journey back to Mashaquipe Lodge.
Wrap up the day with a delicious dinner at the Lodge, followed by a well-earned rest in the heart of the rainforest.
Start with a traditional breakfast of local beverages, fruits, and pastries before embarking on a 1.5-hour boat trip back to Rurrenabaque, then enjoy a car ride to Santa Rosa, with opportunities to spot sloths, anteaters, birds, and more.
Arrive at Las Tortugas Ecolodge, where you’ll settle in and have lunch with local dishes before a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on a boat trip along the Yacuma River for sport fishing, with a chance to catch piranhas and see wildlife like caimans, capybaras, and birds.
After dinner, take a night boat tour to spot capybaras, birds, and glowing caiman eyes.

We will pass through to the witches' market, where you can see medicinal herbs and spices, as well as spiritual and superstitious artifacts. Then we’ll visit the main square of La Paz, Plaza Murillo, and see the most important government buildings around it. We will have lunch in a local restaurant and we will take the cable car from where we will be able to see the fascinating landscapes of La Paz. Finally, we will visit the Moon valley (Valle de la Luna), a fascinating geological anomaly called like this because of its bizarre, moon-like landscape.
