Sacsayhuaman: We begin with the majestic fortress of Sacsayhuaman, famous for its huge perfectly fitted stones and panoramic views of Cusco.
Qoricancha: Then we visit the Temple of the Sun, Qoricancha, where you will see the fusion of Inca architecture with colonial architecture in the Convent of Santo Domingo.
Tambomachay: Later, we explored Tambomachay, the Inca Bath, known for its advanced sources and hydraulic engineering.
Puca Pucara: Our next stop is Puca Pucara, the Red Fortress, which served as a military checkpoint, offering incredible views of the surrounding landscapes.

Chinchero: We continue to Chinchero, a charming village known for its textile traditions. Here you will see local craftsmen weave beautiful pieces and explore the Inca ruins next to the colonial church.
Ollantaytambo: After a delicious lunch included, we head to Ollantaytambo, an Inca city well preserved with impressive ruins and terraces overlooking the valley. Here we explore the temple and ancient stone streets, feeling the mystical energy of this fascinating place.
Highlight of the day: In the late afternoon, your guide will accompany you to the EXPEDITION train station for boarding to the charming village of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes), ensuring a journey full of discoveries.

Then we continue for another hour on dirt road until the beginning of the trail. The walk takes about 1:30h per stretch, with beautiful views of the snowy mountains and local animals such as llamas, condors, alpacas and Andean birds. At the top, we will pause to admire the Colored Mountain.
On the way back, our transport will be waiting for you to take back to Cusipata for lunch (simple restaurant). Then we moved on to Cusco, arriving around 5:30.
